About

Our Mission

We help mission-driven organizations design and implement community-based and family-centered research, assessment, and evaluation strategies to build a more equitable world.

Our Values

We value results and patience, kindness and justice, integrity and honesty. We believe that a more equitable future demands creating and sustaining meaningful relationships that acknowledge but are not solely defined by inequities. We value the importance of creating a shared vision, developing accountability structures, and measuring progress toward ambitious goals with realistic milestones.

Our Approach

Our approach is based on human rights and promoting the dignity and participation of all people in decision-making on matters that affect them.

We provide analytic expertise and technical assistance to address today’s most pressing needs with the resources on hand, and develop sustainable action plans for future challenges and opportunities.

We leverage data for good. This means we respect how data can be used for improving people’s lives and protect against misuse of data in ways that may cause harm, even unintentionally. There are times when information cannot or should not be distilled down to a statistic or soundbite. We embrace the complexity of the problems we help partners solve, and we are transparent about potential risks even amidst obvious opportunities.

We believe the path toward a more equitable world requires attention to nuances and constant adaptation. A key component in our process is working with clients to identify the appropriate, rigorous, tried-and-true methods to accomplish their goals, as well as being open to innovating new techniques tailored to the tasks at hand.

We are excited to work together if it is the first time or one of many, and in either case we want to develop sustainable solutions that fit your needs today and in the future. We work with clients to build their own data literacy as an essential asset in achieving their goals, thereby strengthening their own capacity to implement research, assessment, and evaluation projects.

No matter the scope and scale of your goals, there is a place for strategies that build a more equitable world. Let’s build that world together.
